I had a great experience staying at this hostel on Elephantine Island. Seko, the owner, was extremely helpful in organizing various trips and activities for me at a cheaper rate than other places. the meals prepared by Seko were delicious and the view from the hostel was absolutely amazing. the rooms were basic but comfortable, with AC and a window to let in fresh air. the island itself is beautiful and the people are friendly, making it a perfect place to explore and get lost in the narrow streets. my stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Cons: Don't have any issues at all 👍.

The accommodation at this hostel offers an amazing location with a stunning river view, perfect for enjoying during the daytime. Guests can also enjoy a cup of tea anytime, adding a nice touch to their stay. Additionally, the hostel provides reasonably priced tours, making it convenient for guests to explore the surrounding area.
The hostel lacks adequate mosquito protection, which can be problematic for guests, especially during windless nights.

We stayed at the Seko Kato Nile View hostel for a few days and absolutely loved it! The location by the Nile was breathtaking, especially from the rooftop terrace where we enjoyed coffee and breakfast. The atmosphere was laid back and worry-free, and the owner was incredibly nice and accommodating. He even organized a fantastic tour to Abu Simbel for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. We highly recommend this hostel for its amazing views, friendly staff, and great service!

Great view of the river, peaceful atmosphere, and very clean rooms. the owner was friendly and helped with organizing a day trip to a nearby attraction. the breakfast was affordable and delicious.
The WiFi was unreliable and the communication with the staff could be improved. the location was a bit far from the main ferry, requiring a walk on dirt roads.

I had a fantastic stay at Seko Kato Nile View in Aswan. The hostel's perfect view of the shore and high dunes created a peaceful atmosphere, and the two terraces allowed me to admire it all. Seko and his staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive to travelers' needs. The private ride they arranged for us when we arrived late was greatly appreciated. The wifi at the hostel was the best I've experienced in a hostel. Living on Elephantine island was a unique and enjoyable experience, with friendly people and a walkable village atmosphere. The rooftop view was as beautiful as in the pictures, and the simple breakfast provided a pleasant start to the day. The rooms were basic but comfortable, and the location was very quiet. The hostel also offered affordable tours, including a competitive one to Abu Simbel. Seko Kato Nile View provided incredible value for money and a wonderful stay.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the sunset over the majestic Nile. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with tall ceilings and cozy beds. The value for money was excellent, and I highly recommend staying here.
Getting to the hostel was a bit difficult as you had to take a boat and navigate through sandy roads, so be prepared if you have heavy luggage. The facilities, especially the bathrooms, were not as clean as I had hoped.
